The Traveler…

The Traveler Stamp Set would have to be one of my ALL-TIME favorite stamp sets.  Combined then with the World Map background and the Project Life Remember This Stamp Set… talk about the winning trifecta – WOW!

The Project Life Remember This Stamp Set was actually the incentive for these cards as the stamps for me lent themselves to more than scrapbooking. The “old world” feel of the Traveler Stamp Set is simply glorious!

Traveler - Ship Bliss - JIF

For the next card I couldn’t resist treating it as I would a scrapbook page, making it more three-dimensional than I normally would by having the cover of the passport not adhered.

Travler - Adventure Bound - JIF

After two cards on Very Vanilla Background with Baked Brown Sugar stamped World Maps, I wanted some color so what better to reach for then the Blackberry Bliss Classic Ink with the camera in a layered-effect. The layered cameras I “inked-off” before stamping so that the top camera would then have more emphasis.

Colored Rhinestones

If you asked me what I liked MOST about the new Blendabilities is the fact they can permanently color the Basic Rhinestone Jewels!

On the card below the Basic Rhinestone Jewels at both the top and bottom of the card were colored with the Cherry Cobbler Dark Blendability Pen. The color in real-life is far more intense than this scan is letting on. Note to self: NEVER EVER again scan a card!

Giggle Greetings - Bowl of Cherries Black White - JIF

This stamp is from the Giggle Greetings Stamp Set with that black and white background being a card from the… you guessed it… the Project Life Everyday Card Collection, lol!

This is a good example though how color changes an image. You may or may not remember I used this same image on Tuesday but with a different background, it looks almost like a completely different card.

Project Life quotes…

Last week I showed you a quick yet effective card using the Project Life Cards Collections and this week I’m going to show you another. This time though using a quote from that same set.

Project Life - Quote - JIF

Yep, I’m becoming a tad addicted to these Project Life Cards Collection and have already begun deciding which will be the next set to purchase. Fixated? perhaps, lol! 🙂

Project Life Mojo!

Yesterday was Mojo Monday and this was their sketch.

Mojo 348 Sketch

With the new catalog going live yesterday, my head was spinning with so many new ideas yet it left me oddly with absolutely NO desire to do any stamping. What the? Then I spotted my Everyday Adventure Project Life Card Collection. As such they are for scrapbooking but I had to wonder.

Project Life AssistanceThree cards was all that it took: one for the background, one for the center, and one more for the embellishments as such. Three Candy Dots and a tea-doily sponged with Crumb Cake Classic Ink and Gold Metallic Ink were the final touches.

Mojo Monday 348 - Hi Project Life - JIF

The “HI” was fussy-cut then covered with Liquid Crystal, as was the 1″ Circle that was adhered to the Essentials Wooden Embellishment. One of the off-cuts from the fussy-cutting was used for the banner which was put through the Decorative Dot Embossing Folder.

Mojo Monday 348 - Hi Project Life - HI- JIF

Oh, and if you think my tea-doily is a tad wonky, it is, lol! Having sponged the tea-doily I’d put it aside for the Metallic Ink to dry then promptly forgot about it. I did try to convince myself it wasn’t necessary but couldn’t do it so then had to cut three sides off the tea-doily before gluing them down. Crazy huh?!
