From another time…

Scrolling through photos of cards I’ve created over the years I came across this one which, after looking at for some time, reminded me that I’d made if from scraps. I tell you, waste NOTHING, save EVERYTHING!

Kindness Matters - Scraps - JIFThen again, saving things is always so much easier said then done as once you’ve decided to save something you then have to turn around and find somewhere to save it TOO! 🙁

Hope you’ve enjoyed your long-week – I’m still catching my breath on returning from our holiday and will be back online PROPERLY tomorrow if you need to contact me (250-632-7248)!

Oh, and have yourself an... Inkee Fiddling Day!

The Open Sea on Sweet Sorbet!

As I’ve mentioned MANY times before, having being born beautiful instead of rich (yes, I can laugh at myself – although these days it’s more jiggling than giggling) I tend to save EVERYTHING. Eventually it all becomes useful.

My size determiner is the usability of the products. Ribbon for example have to be long enough to either fit across a two-inch wide tag which thus in-turn makes it’s large enough to be used on the end of sentiment, tag or such.

For cardstock and DSP, my smallest punch is the determiner. Thus if I can put a scrap into a punch – I save it. Note the small punched circle on the tag above, seriously who wants to lose a sheet of fresh cardstock to that small-fry?!

As exemplified on the card below, the scrap doesn’t even have to fit the punch completely. Don’t you just love the Sahara Sand Cardstock which compliments this sheet of DSP from Sweet Sorbet perfectly?
