A Letterpress Winter

The Letterpress Winter Stamp Set coordinates with the Snowflake Card Thinlits Die but for today’s 2-4-Tuesday I’ve used it as a stand alone stamp set. And what’s more, I’ve used designs straight from the Holiday Catty but have changed them up slightly. Well, this first one I did!

Naturals Vanilla Cardstock and Very Vanilla Cardstock was used as my base with Gold Heat Embossing, Gold Foil Paper, Gold Sequins and Gold Ribbon.

For the second card there’s no denying I pretty much did what was in the catalog with the beautiful All Is Calm Specialty DSP as my background with Soft Sky Cardstock being the center-piece of the card with White Heat Embossing.

All is Calm when Quick and Easy

For today’s card the dry-embossed Filigree Frame in Coastal Cabana sitting on my desk was my starting point.

I was then determined to use the All is Calm Designer Washi Tape along with the Tree Punch. Silver Foil Stars left over from yesterday’s card along with a sentiment stamped in Coastal Cabana Classic Ink was added. A light sponge of Silver Metallic Ink was the final touch.

Snowflake Card Thinlit

This was love at first-sight, the Snowflake Card Thinlits Dies, it is SO gorgeous PLUS it co-ordinates with the Letterpress Winter Stamp Set as well as the Circles Collection Framelits!

For my first card with this Snowflake Card I also used some of the beautiful All is Calm Specialty DSP, All is Calm Designer Washi Tape, as well as some of the beautiful new Dazzling Diamond Glimmer Paper from the Annual Catalog.

These snowflakes also gave me the opportunity to try out the new Transfer Adhesive Sheets. Adhesive Sheets whereby you lay down on the wrong-side what you wish to adhere, rub over the item thus creating your own “sticker” as such. Too easy!

You’re Lovely Washi Tape

A quick card doesn’t mean a card need lose any of its charm and I think this card exemplifies this beautifully. The urge to add a border of Primrose Petals or Melon Mambo Cardstock under the Whisper White Cardstock is still great but so far I’ve resisted! 🙂

A background of Whisper White Cardstock onto the base-card of Whisper White Cardstock with two out of three of the Gingham Garden Designer Washi Tape and a stamp from the You’re Lovely Stamp Set, one of the Sale-a-Bration sets, in Melon Mambo Classic Ink and voila. Too easy!
