If only I had a dollar for every time…

Yes, if I had a dollar for every time I fell asleep on my laptop of an evening I would not only have had paid for all our Christmas expenses this year but I’m sure I could have squeezed out a long week-end away for New Year’s also… albeit at only a 4-star hotel but there’s still time before Christmas to work up to the 5-stars I’m sure!

Even with my left hand throbbing to the point of me being nauseous as, and don’t ask me how, when I was preparing dinner for the children last night I managed to put the back of my hand onto the glass INSIDE the oven that had been heating for nearly two hours… OUCH! It does highlight though how tired I must have been tired  though to sleep through that pain, ’cause let me assure you, it was very VERY painful!

Anyways, at least this week I have an excuse having just had a long week-end away up at Noosaville with six other like-minded ladies “creating” all week-end (more about that next time). And can you believe it, even with working into the wee hours of each morning and getting at least a 6.30am start, I still only managed two-thirds of my “to-do” list!

That remaining third of my “to-do” list I was going to finish today… HA… if only I had remembered that this morning! I knew there was something I had to do today but when I was planning for my week-end LAST week, because I knew it was going to be a HUGE week-end, I allowed myself a free day today.

Which obviously my body needed as like yesterday, once I’d eaten lunch I fell asleep but when you wake up at 3pm and you know you have two little people waiting at the school gates for you, it’s NOT a good feeling (Master Nine was NOT impressed to say the least…). Plus, knowing that I was then taking them to do the grocery shop with me… oh my.

All this means I haven’t taken any pictures of any of my creations from over the week-end, and given that many of what I made are Christmas gifts I’m still undecided as to how much or how many I will share. This doesn’t mean I have nothing to share though…

I do want to share with you just how well things are packaged by Stampin’ Up! when orders are sent to you as I do know that this is often a query when it comes time to order. The following is a box I received only a few weeks ago with my new Beautiful Wings Embosslits Die. Now, you gotta be happy with that!!!

Oh, and have yourself an... Inkee Fiddling Day!
