Sometimes Whisper White is Very Vanilla instead and is mixed with the black! That’s what my combination for today’s Mojo Monday is at least. Here is this week’s Mojo Monday’s Sketch 311 by the very talented Julie Tilman.
When I first saw this sketch I won’t deny I was a tad apprehensive, was I hope for the challenge, but when I sat down today, it all came together very quickly and very easily. Here’s my interpretation.
And yes, I’m still sticking to my masculine themed card which worked well with the DSP Modern Medley and using Always Artichoke as the contrast color. Although… the ribbon is in actual fact the new Pear Pizzazz 3/8″ Taffeta Ribbon.
For the strip of Very Vanilla cardstock and for the circle embellishment I used one of the stamps from Gorgeous Grunge with Crumb Cake Classic Ink. I know, I know, this is my new FAVORITE stamp set but it’s just so fabulous for “dressing” up plain cardstock without overpowering it. Well, that’s what I think anyways 🙂
