Autumn Tones

Perhaps I’m biased but this new Holiday Catalog from Stampin’ Up! would have to be one of my favorites. It’s like an Aladdin’s Cave as each time I go through it, I see something else.

Fall and Thanksgiving aren’t something celebrated in my part of Australia but I am slowly adapting. Especially when it comes to the gratitude I have towards all my “Inkee Fiddlers“.

This is just one of the cards I made (there were a few so changed some of them up slightly) to include with the new Holiday Catalog to thank all my wonderful customers on my mailing list for their continued support!

Grateful For You - Crumb Cake - JIF

With this one note the Always Artichoke Cardstock decorations on each side. These are actually HOUSES from the Homemade Holiday Framelits. How’s that for versatility huh?! These were each finished off with a gold sequin from the 2013-2015 In-Color Sequin Assortment which is where the gold stars also originated.

Scattered Seasons

Posted on

For this week’s “2-4-Tuesday” I’ve used the Seasonally Scattered Stamp Set from the Holiday Catalog. These stamps practically make the cards themselves as they are so big, and definitely BEAUTIFUL! The first card I made was using the “thanks” stamp.

Originally my intention was to heat emboss the card but on seeing how lovely the Versamark worked on the Always Artichoke Cardstock, decided to leave it. The Color Me Autumn DSP creates the smallest of frames around the cardstock with Sahara Sand Candy Dots completing it.

For the second card I used the “love” stamp. This could be a jump-start on Valentine’s Day or perhaps even a wedding card. If using it as a wedding card, if you knew the color of the bridesmaids you could use that as your base color!

Seasonally Scattered - LOVE - JIF

CARD RECIPES
Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Always Artichoke, Whisper White, Strawberry Slush
Stamp Set: Seasonally Scattered
Embossing: Versamark, Silver Embossing Powder, Heat Gun
DSP: Color Me Autumn
Specialty Paper: Silver Glimmer
Punch: Heart from Itty Bitty Accents Pack
Embellishments: Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Neutrals Candy Dots
Essentials: Paper Trimmer, Paper Snips, Sticky Strip,
Stampin Dimensionals, Stampin Scrub and Mist

There is a THIRD stamp but I’m saving that until “Framelits Thursday”!

Oh, and have yourself an... Inkee Fiddling Day!
