Hello Honey Bee!!!

Posted on

After my “first” attempt of the Hexagon Hive Die-cut being ripped in two, oops, as much as I love it I tend to shy away from using it but today I decided to work through my pain barrier. And as I was working through my pain barrier in this horrid heat, I challenged myself to use GREEN! Here’s my card…

Bee Mine - Hello Honey Hexagons - JIF

It’s not that green and I aren’t on speaking terms, it’s simply a case of mixing in different circles, our paths seldom crossing. That was until today. Today I’m into Wild Wasabi, even buying some Wasabi Peas to assist my process! I’ve used Wild Wasabi Cardstock as a thin border behind the Hexagon Hive Die-Cut and Wild Wasabi 1/2″ Seam Binding Ribbon.

Bee Mine - Hello Honey Hexagons - Ribbon - JIF

The Honeycomb Hello Stamp Set only JUST arrived yesterday so I was itching to use it with the Hexagon Die-Cut. How cute is this bee and the matching sentiment? There is also a heart stamp that coordinates with the Heart Punch in the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack but I opted for a simple Silver Foil punched heart.

The Oh, Lovely Stamp Set has been one of those stamp sets that I always intend to do MORE with but which time eludes me from doing so but when I created this card using the Hardwood Stamp, it contained JUST the right sentiment for my completed card.

This is ALL I could envisage for the Hardwood Stamp hence it sat on my table for months until this card was completed at the crop last month, lol. I think it was worth the wait!

Hardwood - Garden Fence - JIFThe leaves are from the Secret Garden Framelits Dies and the flowers are from the Petites Petals Bundles in the Celebrate the Everyday catty! The puss-cat comes from Giggles Greetings Stamp Set, having been stamped, colored then fussy-cut before adhering.
