Still having Dragonfly Dreams!

Posted on

Look what’s still available in the new catalog, the Dragonfly Dreams Stamp Set, woot woot. Given how little I’ve used it though, I’m pretending it’s a brand new set!

Isn’t this stamp set fabulous? It has 10 assorted photopolymer stamps and can be found on page 138 of the Annual Catalog with the matching thinlets on page 218.

And isn’t wonderful how Coastal Cabana is back! Coastal Cabana can now be found in the Brights Collection on page 185 of the new catalog.

Time for a little Birthday Wit!

Posted on

This week’s stamp set I’m playing with would have to be, hand’s down, my FAVORITE from the 2018 Occasions Catalog. It’s the Birthday Wit Stamp Set on page 9. Seriously how fun are these?

All my fingers and toes are crossed that this set carries over into this year’s Annual Catalog.🤞🏼 This is the set of seven stamps which fabulously includes two for a little pattern building.

Don’t forget, there’s less then two weeks left on this year’s Sale-a-Bration. If there were any sets from this catalog on your wish list, NOW is the time to place your order!

Is it really time to “Deck the Halls”? (MFT #352)

Posted on

After being so focused on scrapbooking for the last four weeks, I’m really having trouble now starting anything else. Thank goodness for the card challenges. Here’s my take on the challenge from My Favorite Things #352.

With the Deck the Halls Stamp Set from Stampin’ Up! having been sitting on my workbench for a couple of weeks it was a given to use it. With wood grain papers a current favourite of mine, this was the next obvious choice. Here’s the sketch from My Favorite Things.

Here’s hoping that with next week being a new month my mojo finally kicks in, giving me a jump-start on a project or two. Fingers-crossed!

Letterpress Lanterns

Posted on

For something a little different at a workshop last month, as the hostess had requested something for Christmas but didn’t actually specified a CARD, I knew EXACTLY what I wanted to do!

The Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlits Dies (135853 – $40.50) cut out in White Vellum Cardstock; then heat embossed in Gold Embossing Powder; then finished off with Gold 5/8″ Satin Ribbon, Gold 1/8″ Ribbon and Gold Sequin Trim. All this was then completed with a battery operated tea-light candle placed inside!

JIF - Curvey Boxes - Lanterns - Letterpress Winter

The lantern on the right I didn’t turn on, wanting to highlight how fabulous it looks if you wanted to use this Curvy Keepsake Box for something other than a lantern!
