Typeset Scrapbooking

Wanting to do something a little different my New Orleans pages, I used some of the Typeset DSP to create filing pages for each of the three sections I wanted to highlight. The tabs I created from a framelit from the Chalk Talk Framelits set, folding in half to create the tab look.

New Orleans Highlights in Typeset!

I just want to make a quick disclosure here stating the first four photos for our hotel came from their website as all the photos I thought I’d taken of the hotel and our room were obviously all in my mind. I could not find ONE photo, with the exception of the coffee-bar-box that I’d taken. Very odd…

So many photos, so few pages!

I’m still plodding along with my album for last year’s cruise. Oddly, when I began setting it all up week-end before last I HONESTLY thought I would be finished by now. Huh?

There were almost 3,000 photos I took on that cruise and I thought I’d been done in 12 days. The word “delusional” comes to mind, lol. 🙂 875 photos for the ten hours we were crossing the Panama Canal alone!

In the end I decided to do three double-page spreads on the crossing but I could have done an entire album. I may just do that but not until I’ve caught up on ALL my albums. Here’s my double-page on the locks.

Panama CanalThirty-four photographs in total are on this double-page spread. Some may say too many but there’s still 334 more on the locks I didn’t use!

Scrapbooking – always a love/hate relationship between it and I – the end results however are ALWAYS worth it! 🙂
