Bright and Beautiful Star

Posted on

For today’s Die-Cut Thursday I thought I’d try something different with the Stars Framelits.

Instead of stamping then die-cutting, I die-cut a star then used it as a mask, sponging Pool Party Classic Ink within it. I then stamped in the same color a stamp from the Bright and Beautiful Stamp Set.

In the center of these stars I stamped the sentiment from the Bright and Beautiful Stamp Set then Silver Heat-Embossed it. The base and background of this card is Naturals White Cardstock. The card front framed in Pool Party Cardstock then Silver Foil Paper.

Friendship Preserves!

Posted on

There were such BIG plans for the Friendship Preserves Stamp Set that have yet to see the light of day in my Studio. I was going to do so much baking so these stamps could be highlighted but perhaps using Baked Brown Sugar Cardstock might count also, lol. I know, I know, VERY bad segue but it had to be done! Bit like how only in the English language could the letters “ue” create the sound “way” – what’s with that? 🙂

However, I digress. This card all but created itself as the Fresh Prints DSP Stack even suggests for you on the cover what colors could be used with the DSP. How cool is that? And with the Window Collection Framelits creating a focal point for the stamp, then with the word “bunch” comes flowers so, well, there really wasn’t much to think about after that!
