I trust everyone had a wonderful Easter, over-indulging in all that was on your table – turkey, ham, and let’s not forget the all-important chocolate, lol!

Now that Easter has been ticked off our lists, our focus shifts over to Mother’s Day which is rapidly approaching. Hence I chose today to use something out of the Celebrate the Everyday Catalog – My Mother Stamp Set.

This first card I’ve wanted to do ever since I saw how beautiful Gold Foil and Rose Red Cardstock were together. It also reminded me that I must add Gold and Silver Foil to my order list before the Celebrate the Everyday Catalog expires the beginning of June!

This next card is something along the lines that I originally planned to make for Valentine’s Day except I somehow forgot to do. Initially I hadn’t planned to have a small border of gold but on assembling the card felt it needed just a smidge more kick hence the gold under-layer!

My last card in this set was more a challenge to use DSP as I have a bad habit of over-looking it when it comes to card design – can’t explain it, I simply do! The frustrating thing with this card is that the sketch took absolutely no time at all the other night but this afternoon it took HOURS. Not that you’d know by looking at the card but it’s a design that could be used for many occasions.
