This and That Journal…

As of this coming Sunday, July 28th, I’ll be officiallyoff-air” for four weeks as the children and I are heading back to Australia to visit family. I say officially as sometimes, just sometimes, I become side-tracked with life making me unable to post on the actual day which results in me back dating some posts!

Stop laughing as I remember the other week when “some” may have even been double-digits… sorry ’bout that but here’s something strange for you… this time I’m actually prepared!

When I was in Australia in February, helping with the preparations of my mother’s pending move to a nursing-home, she advised me not to worry about gifts as i) at her age she wanted for nothing, ii) she’d have nowhere to put them, and iii) it was too expensive to post from Canada anyways! She did however say she was open to the unexpected phone call or flower delivery (wonder where I get THAT from) and the occasional photo would be nice.

The occasional photo sounds a lot like a little bit of… This and That! Yes, when Stampin’ Up! released their new line, This and That, I knew exactly what I was going to do… an entire Journal of occasional photos! Here’s some of the collection…This and That Collection!

Me being me though didn’t use any of the 12×12 DSP when it came to the cover, for some reason I reached for the now retired Poetry Stack, typical, but mixed with the new hexagon punch, BRILLIANT!

I loved working with this Journal and for those who think the whole 12×12 scrapbooks as too fussy, and way too much effort, may I suggest you try one of these little gems. The journal’s pages are DSP hence there’s no wondering what your base is going to be, that’s sorted. All you need do is add – as much or as little – as you like, perfect!

To give you an idea of what can be achieved with this incredible collection, whilst I’m away I’ll post a page or two on my usual posting days (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) to highlight the endless possibilities of this journal!

Before I leave you all in semi-peace for the next four weeks, don’t forget the ribbon shares and the items for sale. Simply email anything you’d like, it will be on a first come first serve basis, whom ever emails first receives the item. And don’t forget – buy five and get another item for FREE. Email address again: inkeefiddlings@gmail.com  .

Wishing you all a wonderful season wherever you might be!

Oh, and have yourself an... Inkee Fiddling Day!
