Sweet Baby Wondrous Wreath

This is another card not only highlighting alternative uses for the Wondrous Wreath Stamp Set  (135047 – $31.95) on page 9 of the Holiday Catalog but also the Filigree Frame Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (135818 – $9.95) on page 15.

It always amazes me how by simply reversing the cardstock after dry embossing it, how the entire appearance of the card can have a different feel. I’ll often to that with this embossing folder to create a more subtle look with all those filigrees.

Halloween Wondrous Wreath

The Wondrous Wreath Stamp Set  (135047 – $31.95) on page 9 of the Holiday Catalog has had to be one of my most “go to” stamp sets for this season. Hence it was my first choice to use in a workshop a few weeks.

The hostess had requested we make a Christmas Card but I really wanted to highlight other occasions you could utilize these stamps.

JIF - Wreath - Halloween

Making this Halloween Card I was reminded how this bird’s appearance could be altered so quickly merely by the placement of its wing. If the wing tip is placed up it makes the bird look cute. Where as placing the tip down and moving the larger part of the wing up, gives the bird a more sinister, Halloween appearance don’t you think?

A quick reminder the last order I’ll be placing for the year to ensure deliveries before Christmas will be taking place this evening should you wanted to add an order. HOWEVER , 24 Hour shopping is still available from my website!

Filigree Winterpress

The Filigree Frame Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (135818 – $9.95) on page 15 of the Holiday Catty is one of my favorites. It creates such a quick yet elegant finish to any card.

For this card today I’ve combined it with the Letterpress Winter Stamp Set (135143 – $31.95) on page 21 of the Holiday Catty. A stamp set which I’ve had a LOT of fun with plus it co-ordinates with the Snowflake Cart Thinlets Dies (135855 – $40.50) on page 22 of the Holiday Catty.

The Basic Rhinestones I’ve simply colored with a Blendabilities Light Crumb Cake Pen to give them a gold hue rather than the silver that they are.

I have all my fingers and toes crossed that this Filigree Frame is carried over into the Occasions Catty which is to be released January 6th, we shall see. Now don’t forget, last order of the year by me is going in Tuesday 9th December but there will still be 24 hour shopping on my website.

All is Calm when Quick and Easy

For today’s card the dry-embossed Filigree Frame in Coastal Cabana sitting on my desk was my starting point.

I was then determined to use the All is Calm Designer Washi Tape along with the Tree Punch. Silver Foil Stars left over from yesterday’s card along with a sentiment stamped in Coastal Cabana Classic Ink was added. A light sponge of Silver Metallic Ink was the final touch.
